    My free range

I have 3 passion flower vines... well, 2 now. I did not take care of the one and it died after bringing it inside for the winter (I did not water it enough and I lost it- dumb on my part). Since I have them inside in the same room as the chameleon, I was going to see how it grew inside the...

is my setup really wrong?! cham isnt happy!!

Pretty Cham you have there. Welcome to the addiction. Few observations: 1. I would triple the amount of foliage. They feel better in a denser green environment. Get a pothos or another vine like passion flower and maybe a plant with stems and branches: hibiscus, ficus, schefferela might do...

    Planted Terrarium for Panther/ veiled?

Hahaha! My local garden shop brings in freshly harvested sphagnum every thursday (roots and everything) and even rinses it out to remove any bugs, and they harvest it from a non-pesticide area. So really, I thank them! All I have to do is put the roots face down and it continues to stay green...

What kind of passion vine are you talking about the one with the pretty flower? If you are using that I an going to get me some for a couple cages. I love those things. I may not be able to find it in Montana, but a couple of those will be in my bag when I fly home from the daytona show. Would...

I'd like to see some pics of these as well, I've been wondering what types of flowering plants/vines I could add in. I maybe a guy but I still like color (part of the reason I have a panther after all), would be a plus if it also smelled good! I've been wondering about honeysuckle, I know as...

    Looking for good foiliage plant?

We recently decided to change all of the plants in Hugo's cage (7 month old veiled) and filled it with a hibiscus, 3 x ficus, 2 x draceana's and a passion flower. They were new plants, so looked a bit 'bare' when we put them in. It is now 3 weeks later, ficus is fine, as are the dracaena's. The...

    Looking for good foiliage plant?

We had a passion flower in the garden and it went wild and took over! We had to dig it out eventually as it pulled on the fence! Even now a couple of years later we still find new growth shoots in odd places! I did think about one for Amy's cage, but thought it might just join everything...

    Looking for good foiliage plant?

We had to throw out the wood we had bought as it all went rotten, so have been struggling with vines etc for him. They don't have much strength to them, but they cover what we have in there quite well. I was just really shocked at how much it has grown!

    Beautiful New Hibiscus!

Hugo goes through phases, but he is quite partial to the hibiscus. And the passion flower too. He had some stuck to his top lip the other day. Very funny. I have found that since i have put the plants in the cage, they have all grown really well. Must be the temp and the UV.

    Grape-leaved passion vine?

Any one know if this would be a safe vine for an enclosure. I have seen purple passion vine on safe lists and assume this one would be ok too. I have also read that some components from the flower can be toxic. Is this true? Passiflora vitifolia http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/1224/

    Possible Worms?

About one month ago, I noticed a small amount of bright red blood in Hugo’s poo. Rushed him straight to the vets, who said he looked healthy and sent it off to be tested. All was fine with it, so said it was where he had eaten a cricket that may have been a little large. I noticed this morning...
