...case, ever checked the UV light for delivering UVB? There are cases known that even new bulb/tubes where defect. They lighten up, however don’t provide any level UVB. You could test it with a solar meter or UVB test card (https://www.amazon.com/REPTI-ZOO-Tester-Reptile-Fluorescent/dp/B07TJHQ2JR).

Wow, I did not know that these test cards even existed! Everyone should have these test cards if they don't have a solar meter. At least they would know that the bulb isn't defective and spitting out a 0.0. Great info, thanks!

Its a 36" / 90cm cage. So if the cham hangs out mostly in the 12" away from the light zone, you can go with a 10/12% T8, or a 5.0/6% T5 HO. However if the cham mostly hanges out 18-24" away from the bulb, the T5 would be a better choice. The T8 10 is perfect for 18" tall "glass tanks"...
