I have heard horror stories of rat and mice eating snakes. So if you feed live make sure that the rat/mice is not too big for the snake and make sure you supervise so if something happens you can stop it.

I prefer frozen thawed but if you do decide to feed live be careful. I believe there is a ball python forms you could check out.

Thanks for the reply I will measure him tomorrow morning. He gets a salad every day. I give him bugs 2 times a week. Do you think that is enough of not enough. He has not been tested for parasites do you think it would be a good idea to get him tested?
