They can drool if they drink too much. I even had one chameleon drink so much that it threw up some of the water.

Something doesn’t seem right....you have a 150 watt in a glass tank and your temp range at basking is between 85-92? What are you measuring your temps with?. You should be using a laser gun and directing the beam on the branch under the light where you chameleon sits. He may be overheating...

Some are just larger than others. Oh you didn’t get him as a baby then. I wouldn’t worry about it. They all can’t be giants!

i also would give him a multivitamin two or three times a month on his feeders also. Get Reptivite which contains Vitamin A.

I don’t like the looks of it and the fact it is now developing those black spots, I think it is time you take him to a vet as he may need some type of oral anti biotic as well as a topical.

Agreed with RI issues. Have never dealt with it personally but seen many on here and other groups and the symptoms are pointing towards that. Often times when they are sleeping they will point their snout in the air if they are having trouble breathing.
