I would not add calcium to her misting bottle. What size is she? What kind of chameleon is she? 3-5 crickets is not nearly enough. She should be eating a dozen or 2....depending on her size you may want fruit flies too... At 2 months I put my babies into their 2x2x4 enclosure, but beforee2...

    Let’s see your gut loads!

Drats! You figured out my plan for world domination! ? :ROFLMAO: I feed my colonies well so that they’ll produce many little babies that can grow up to be sacrificed to my cham masters. Plus, I have a few hundred crickets for Spike, who has decided he no longer likes roaches.

    Booming Roaches

I think you are talking it a bit strict lol. I did not actually count them. They are babies 2 1/2 months. I can tell by looking about how long they will last. I didn’t mention the, I don’t know how many probably 1000 or so I have that are 1/4 to 1/2 inch nymphs plus the 100s of 3/4 plus...

    Veiled Chameleon!

From what the pet store told me he is a veiled chameleon, male, and they didn’t tell me the age. I’ve been handling him once or twice a week depending on his mood. He’s been alright with me handling him and he loves being in the sunlight from my window. I’ve had him for about two months and he...

Hey guys! I was just wondering, how many bugs should I feed my (baby) chameleon per feeding? Furthermore, how many bugs should I feed him per serving when he is an adult? Baby Veiled Chameleon Appetite?

I've recently gotten a 2 month old baby Veiled chameleon from a breeder. It's only day 2 with him and I've been leaving him alone other than to feed him. The breeder I got him from would free range his feeders so I'm attempting to do the same but I'm concerned about how many crickets he's...

Feeders harder to find for a new coming panther owner

Great job on never getting started with crickets, they really are a pain... Yes, 3 feeders is enough, but maybe replace 1 or 2 of the 3 feeders your a feeding every month. As for how many to buy, I would say get ~100 small dubias to see if he accepts them, and then get ~300 smalls and 500 adults...

Uh Hi New Cham mom here.

So.. I’m new to the whole reptile community and I saw a little veiled chameleon at Pet-smart touching the glass when ever I just watched him (I was there taking my dogs to get a check up) the little guy walked over and kept digging up dirt to try and get closer I guess? Well I bought him and...

    Baby...

You can also feed pinhead crickets and (I think they’re called) bean beetles. Rule of thumb for feeder size is anything larger than the space between their eyes is too big. At that age he can pretty much eat as much as he wants. No idea how to tell how much he’s been eating. @janjan20 @jannb...

Thanks!! That was another reason I was not wanting to get them. I think I will slowly take her off crickets. She will already be under enough shock from the move.
