    Bee pollen...

...regurgitated over and over as a result. The "safe plant" lists personally drive me crazy for that reason. People will say to avoid philodendron varieties in favor of pothos. They are in the same family, and have the same toxicity, but they'll refer to pothos (the species) as safe and...

...less expensive. I use both ReptiBreeze and that one for my chams. For plants, keep it simple for now and get some pothos or heart leaf philodendron. Schefflera is a great center/tall plant to have, but it would need a special plant light. https://chameleonacademy.com/plants/ Keep asking...

    Panther Toxic Plant Treatment/ Recovery

Thank you for all of your help and advice! I did give him some reptivite to get him some vitamin D (breeder guidance) because the rephasy calcium with low D will take over a week to arrive. He IS starting to figure out how to unlatch himself. Yes, King Chams has been wonderful and supportive...

    Is this light okay?

...units mentioned above. I think it all depends on what types of plants you’ll be using it for. 15w isn’t very strong, but will help keep your pothos, philodendron, spider plant and wandering Jew’s growing well. For anything other than basic houseplants, you’ll want to use at least a 35w or higher.

    Is he healthy ??

...used enclosures and other items on FaceBook marketplace or Craig’sList. You’d just need to give everything a thorough cleaning/sanitizing. For plants, pothos is awesome and can get new plants started so easy from clippings rooted a bit in water. Philodendron is very similar and also can be used.

    Digging while sleeping

...perhaps the best. I do like to have a larger center plant, like a weeping fig tree, money plant or schefflera and then lots of pothos or philodendron around it. I dislike waste, so have been using my fake plants on the outside of the enclosures which gives my chameleons a sense of extra...

Looking into some plants. Are any of the listed plants toxic? Experience with them in a chameleon cage?

Hi. I’m not sure about all of those plants being safe for chameleons. I can only tell you that the Fl chams list is really more of what is safe for cats and dogs…it’s not easy compiling a list of reptile safe plants. The lists that most of us go by is specific for chameleons and is here...
