Young Veiled F Cham is sleeping a lot, squinting eyes and rubbing her eyes against the screen

...eating mostly superworms and mealworms, those are basically candy for a cham. If she's not as interested in crickets, that could explain why - I'd rather eat cake than veggies. 😅 Hopefully she'll eat, but skipping a meal or two isn't unusual at all, especially if a cham isn't feeling their best.

Should I give my new Cham non gut loaded crickets or skip a feeding for today? Help

Hi. Not sure I understand how you can be all it of food for your crickets. The best things to feed your feeders is fresh produce - greens, veggies and just a bit of fruit. Attaching graphics to help. For feeding stations, similar to the one from Fram’s Cham’s is the Shooting Gallery...

how to reintroduce clean up crew to my feeder roach colony

...bin. I basically just grow cleaners outside the tub, and introduce a little at a time. The cleaner crew seems to live off of lizard poop and a bit of veggies just fine. Not sure if you could make a cleaner house with small slits so the cleaners can go in and out, but the larger roaches cant.

    Closing one eye?

Thats why I switched to the Reapshy LoD as well, I didn't feel that the Reptivite stuck to the bugs very well and I was worried about my chams not getting what they need.

    Brown crickets

I always free ranged my crickets in the cages and the only times the crickets would bite a chameleon were if the chameleon was sick or there was nothing in the cage for them to eat. I always left little containers of my greens/veggie gutload in the cages for the insects to eat.

And if all of you turn vegan because you can’t face killing a bug or anything…don’t forget the veggies sense things too. “The team of researchers tested tobacco plants and tomato plants by not watering them and by cutting off their stems.
