    I just couldn’t leave her there…

Hi All! It’s been a while since I posted. Stopping in to say hi, tell y’all about the sick Cham I bought on impulse, and to vent (just a little) Last week I was in Vegas, supporting my cousin/favorite human who was competing for the title of Mrs. American. Like everyone else visiting Vegas, I...

    MBD? Mouth rot?

Hi All, I’m slightly freaking out and need guidance about my girl Panther Cham, Iba. I’ll start by saying she has a vet appointment scheduled for 9/3. Today I noticed her bottom jaw is not aligned. I’ll attach photos. She has been with me since 8/3, so not even a month yet. I've done a...

    Tail discoloration: normal/weird shed/injury/infection?

Okay so I noticed this today on our boy Loki’s tail but my son says he noticed it yesterday and thought he was going to shed (not sure how I didn’t see it as I interacted with him quite a few times misting his enclosure). I’ve never seen this and we’ve never had any issues since we got our...

    Emergency!

Hello.. I have a male Veiled Chameleon who is about 1 and a half years old. I'm going to hold off on being too detail oriented because I could use advice as quick as possible. He has a good sized cage with a ficus tree, diet consists mainly of Dubia roaches, gets the multivitamin and calcium...

What is the best food for chameleons?

I recommend Dr. Nakamura at Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Gatos. He helped me get my chameleon back to good health after my initial poor husbandry because I was in elementary school and it was my first pet. That was 20 years ago and he's still there now.

Hi Beman, thank you for your reply. I didn't expect them to at. I've been debating if I should mention it or not. She asked me to keep her posted but idk. Really want to add some diversity to her food... Dubias have a higher uric acid level so if that is all your feeding she has to process...

    MBD? Mouth rot?

So the cham academy runs temp ranges on their care images as a basic guide. One of those can not make all the breeders happy thing so he does a range. The issue with keeping her hotter is your increasing her metabolism. My understanding was that you were planning on breeding her. Having smaller...
