If it's green with some yellow streaks on the leaves, then it's golden Pothos.also that's the most commonly sold type because it's so cheap and easy. And if it's not, your chameleon should be safe anyways as long as he doesn't consume large amounts of it.

Remove the red night light ASAP. Chameleons require darkness to sleep so if you are worried about your temps reaching the low 40s at night, buy a ceramic heat emitter so you don't disrupt your chameleon.
