What is necessary on a background?

I did a photo background from pet backdrops with the two sides white. I really like it because the white sides reflects the light very well and the forest pic in the background gives it a little visual interest.

What is necessary on a background?

I was looking at their site. Do you have the cling, adhesive or non-adhesive type? I want to apply mine to the inside glass but not sure if they have the right option. Was yours on the inside? Thanks!

    Help/feedback on a huge enclosure I’m making

This might be a dumb ask but does anyone know if there’s any evidence to support whether or not chameleons prefer printed image backdrops (open forests, etc to give the illusion of more space) or closed sculpted foam ones? I want this to be the ultimate environment for my panther. Thanks!

    Backdrop for Enclosures?

Its me again!! I'm getting some hybrid Dragon Strand enclosures (should be arriving today!!) and I have been thinking about doing some backdrops for just the back wall of the enclosures. I do like the white sides as I feel it helps brighten up the enclosure more, but think something on the far...

    Enclosure Upgrade!

Hey everyone. First post here as a new chameleon owner. Last month near the end of December, I bought a jackson’s chameleon! I had researched and thoroughly looked through all best possible appliances and cages for my guy. Ultimately, I started him off in a glass palidarium (18x18x36) with a...

    Enclosure Upgrade!

Hi, I'm new here so this is the first I'be seen your post. Your new enclosure looks great, and Ankle is a good looking boy! I'm sort of in the same place in my journey, even though I've only had my girl veiled cham for about 2 weeks. I was in a crunch amd let the pet shop sell me an 18x18x36...

Thoughts on these companies hybrid enclosures

I have a dragon strand hybrid enclosure. I really like it so far. It’s well built and most definitely helps me keep my humidity locked in there due to me living in a desert environment. It is for sure a pricy option but i had the money and i figure it should last me many many years to come. I...

    Backdrop for Enclosures?

I was going to do a backdrop, but... I was too lazy to do one. I would recommend anything that matches the color scheme of your enclosure- light pinks, purples, yellows, light greens, dark greens, and anything and everything in between will make a really cute backdrop. Or, just anything that...

    Too much foliage?

I love that you have a lot of vines and greenery! Can't go wrong there! I would say if you like the greenery, maybe consider adding a backdrop? Chameleons love all of the plants so they can blend in and hide! Well done!

    Would he even use this?

...against using them. While I don’t foresee that they could cause any direct problem to your chameleon, they aren’t of much benefit either. Pretty backdrops are available. I think Neptune the chameleon has a link to a great place and possibly a discount code. https://www.neptunethechameleon.com/

    Husbandry Review

...enclosure I could buy was then 16x16x30. Since then I have upgraded him to a 24x24x38 Dragon Strand Hybrid Enclosure. Also added some cool backdrops to make it feel more natural for him. Temps- Basking temp 83-85. Ambient temperature fluctuates around 70°-76° throughout the day. Nighttime...

    Herbie’s Sky Walk

I saw silver hangars but considered whether the shininess would scare him off. Clear would be excellent. Very discrete. But the ones I found wouldn’t hold the rope or branch out far enough from the wall.

    Husbandry Review

I did forget to add the gutload portion, I have blended up a mix of stuff and had frozen them into cubes. Along with these cubes I have a dry gut load that I also offer them. My sister was rolling her eyes at me hearing me explain my plans for him but I know in my heart that he deserves it.

    Backdrop for Enclosures?

I totally did watch her video :). Thats actually where I got the idea. I know she has screen enclosures so I'm just curious how those backdrops would work on a hybrid. Ugh...that pond and stone thing sounds overly complicated.......I'm not a handy person at all and if i'm putting it on my...

    Herbie’s Sky Walk

Avoid pvc... I have seen some bad stuff with that being used. From falls to damage to the feet from roughing up the surface. I can't find the image I saved. But my dream is to have one of the Tamura Designs walls they do. They do them with clear plastic mounting pieces for the wall and...

Hello, I am new to the forums as well as new to chameleon keeping. I am looking for a male juvenile veiled chameleon. I do not have him yet but I’m hoping to get him soon! I just want to make sure that my husbandry is correct! Since I don’t have him yet, I will list what I am planning to do as...
