    Cage Upgrade - Bioactive -Large

Hey everyone, Starting a new upgrade for my boy, Nigel. I recently picked up an awesome curio cabinet with a glass front (good for the humidity as it's super dry here in Colorado). I've extended the back, built a custom planter box and hideaway for the water reservoir and misting system...

Large Enclosure Lighting - Deep Foliage, bioactive

Would love some opinions on lighting. I currently have a 24" Reptisun UVB LED combo hood. It's been great in his 30" wide cage. However, I'm about to upgrade to a much larger 40" wide, 70" tall, and 20" deep cage. Any thoughts on best combo for penetration of UVB and LED for plant growth? Either...

    IKEA Build - Finally complete

Hey guys, I wanted to share my final custom build with timers and MistKing all set up. Now I need some help. Where should I look to buy a healthy Panther? I will be at the Reptile Nation expo in Denver, CO Feb 22nd-23rd, and was wondering if anyone will be there, or if anyone on here knows a...

    Potted plants vs bioactive?

Wasn't too difficult to convince me to go bio lined the front, about 1 inch of drainage rocks there, with a 2 inch soil, then heads up the hill to 6inches soil in the back, 1 inch drainage underneath that, not to mention the ultimate drain still below. Spills out sometimes out of screen on the...

    Potted plants vs bioactive?

Hey everyone, I finally got the plants put in and ready to go. I'm a bit worried, however, of the little guy squeezing in between the pots down low. I know that I read pots are easier and better in terms of him not eating substrate, but it feels like there are some tight spots in here that he'd...
