Call them, theres an 800# i think. They were very helpfull when i called. they were going to refund money for cage but i kept it anyway. Keep in mind with the wire mesh cage you may have to order accessories that came with the cloth cage.
I would add to get the biggest cage you can, their pretty cheap. I free range my cham so he rarely uses his indoor cage. Hide areas, room to roam, diff temp zones all help create a stress free enviornment for your cham.
I think this was the black cloth mesh...100 gallon chameleon package
size: 30" x 16.5" x 48"
100 Gallon Reptarium (30" x 16.5" x 48"), 24" UV Hood, 18" Fluorescent UVB 5.0 Bulb, Heat Lamp, Heat Bulb, 2 Packages of Large Tropical Vines, 8 Quarts Tropical Moss, Thermometer. Shipping included...
I did the same thing. The black zipper looking one is a cloth mesh. It seems more like a tempoary cage than the wire mesh one. And it doesn't show the cham well. I kept the cloth one for an outdoor cage, and bought the smaller wire mesh one for inside.
Everyone on here is a big mist king fan [for good reason, its a great product]. Doesn't mean other products aren't good but not many even try anything else. Let us know how you stuff works and good luck with your cham.
The big box stores [home depot, Lowes] are pretty good for common home houseplants like ficus and pathos I got 2 cages from LLL, their pretty good although i ordered the wrong cage [the black screen not wire mesh.] They were great to work with, just make sure what your getting.
The fact this happened so suddendly would suggest a possible heart issue, an injury or maybe swallowing something thats either poison or stuck inside. Lood carefully and see if theres any visible signs. Not much you can do more than examine and make him comfortable.
Im no expert but heres my 2 cents worth. If kept outdoors and gets natural sunlight no additional lighting is really needed. The calcium with d3 schedule is usually once/twice a month and without d3 at every feeding. Multi vitiman once a month.
probably small crickets may get him eating, or waxworms. May try handfeeding him [squashed worm with repashy mix?],they usually open their monty when you hold them.
i really want a carpet, but don't really have room/time. Their not too easy to find. Is there care sheet avail for them? I'm guessing care is similar to panthers but not sure. Go for it.
