I came back home to give Sherbert his antibiotics, and when I picked him up, he moved his eyes around but would not open them. He is reacting like it hurts to open his eyes, I don't know he is having a reaction to his antibiotic, or if this is from the high number of Protozoal. He slightly opens...

It's not swollen... he just hides it and doesn't use it.He started to grab branches today, but puts little weight on it, and hides it when he sleeps.

He didn’t get any injections, his antibiotics are given by mouth.. I found stuck shed in between his claw, I’m wondering if his claw is soar so he isn’t grabbing anything…

I have realized that he doesn’t use his upper right leg.. is this normal when they don’t fell good?

He said the weather change and stress can make the amount of protozals in him go way up, causing him to not feel good.

Yeah, he looked at me after he pooped and I swear he had a smirk on his face. I think he likes to stress me out 🙃

Just got back From the vet. Sherbert pooped while we were waiting for them to come in so he did a fecal test before he ran the blood work. Sherbert has a high number of Protozoal, they gave antibiotics to take every other day for three weeks. He should start to feel better in a few days.

Thank you! He ate two hornworms this morning. The vet visit is in two hours, and I will show results when we get back. He is looking a lot better since he ate, but is still closing his eyes.

The vet called after I sent a picture and thinks it might be the start of an infection. I was freaking out when I saw him close his eyes but now that he’s moving around and eating some food I feel a lot better. Thank you all for your support and help ❤️

My dad was able to find some, he’s going to drop them off on his way to work tomorrow. Hopefully that will help!

He ate four dubia roaches!!!! I had to put them in a certain spot, but he ate four!! I have silkworms coming tomorrow, but I wasn’t able to find hornworms, I’ll check tomorrow before once all the stores open. I’m so happy he ate, once he did he got brighter and his eyes started looking better!

Thank you! We really need it. A fly flew in his enclosure and he tried to eat it, it flew away too soon but he is hunting it down right now. I’m going to find a store that has some black soldier flies, or even fruit flies, anything to get him to eat.
