Congratulations! It all sounds so fun and exciting! Im glad you decided to leave the yolk on. I've never hatched any eggs but I figure if it were born in the wild, he would have had ro keep it on and I'm sure nature has its reasons.
Anyway! Good luck to the little guy and his brothers and sisters!
Great story indeed! Be careful when he ventures over to Poppi's viv if she has a hot basking light he can climg up on or snap his tongue at. Per poor Picasso's incident. Other than that the free range cage is pretty cool and an inspiration.
... but you get the gist! Congrats to Leon on making it to his first shed with us! He wasnt even showing signs of shedding this morning at feeding time, and suddenly around 4PM he's cruising around like this! Crazy lil guy! Cheers to more sheds and a healthy cham!
hehehe... and the lack there of one :(
jacksons are quite the cute little buggers!
Great suggestions! I'm somewhat OCD and like things to be alike... thus the resistance towards bamboo. haha. i've been buying a bendy vine once every 2 weeks to add to keep the uniformity LOL. i'm sure...
Hi everyone!
Here's Leon's current setup and a week old picture pf him. Wanted to get your opinions and critiques to see what we could improve upon.
Thanks all!
I reckon it's like humans tossing and turning - something I've been doing A LOT of these days. Maybe he has a million thoughts going through his head. ;)
You could suggest that he count waxworms.
Hey Cain! Just curious as to what basking temp you would recommend for a 6 month Jacksons.
Currently we have the highest branch to reach about 83, but he hangs out most of the day about 4 inches under it on another branch.
Thanks for the advice! :)
i'm so sorry to hear about fenix! he will forever be immortalized as a christmas elf :) which is when i first saw him and walker. i'm sure he misses you too. cheers to the new cage!
