I did that with my vieled chameleon. I mean, I bought crickets (lots) but I also fed her lots of meal worms. It wasn't a matter of money, it was a matter of thinking meal worms are an ok day by day food.

My first chameleon was a vieled. Got her at Petco (yup) and i asked the staff all i needed to know (mistake number 2). I got a tank and crappy light for her. The tank got all nasty because of spraying it down and it was hard to clean. The temperature was crappy...
I picked up the large terra one a couple days ago. When you pump it does it not spray very long? I got it home, filled it, pumped it, and it seemed to leak air out of where the pump rod is. I didnt over pump it. I have to pump and hold the trigger at the same time to get a good spray....
Not sure. I said id take care of her until he got the male in. He had a female already in the store. The sad thing is that she has been in there for a while. He was asking 260. IMO nobody is gonna pay that for a brown chameleon. I will post new pics when he comes in! Not sure when that will be...
The guy emailed me back and asked why he thought everyone thought it was a female. I told him the tail base and color. He said that he assumed it was female because he got it from his trusted supplier him like me didn't pay much attention and just assumed. You know what happens when you ASSume...
