Carnivorous plants are toxic and some have sharp thorns. With all this said, what do chameleons do to hydrate themselves? Eat plants of course. The main question is "is it worth it when other plants have been highly succesfull?"

Chameleons generally are. Dont expect to train your Cham to be nice, cant do it. If you get a friendly one then you are lucky! I never tried raising from a baby yet. Im gonna try that and see if i get an early bond and see if it makes a difference.
Yea, strategically place the hose so when the drops come out they dont go straight to the bottom of the cage. Lets the droplets run on top of your tallest plants. This will help from flooding the cage (sort of). But also like said above, make sure you dont have a buildup of water on the bottom...
