For those who had suggested lowering his basking temps, I have raised and tilted his lamp and my temps are reading between 80-85. I'll see how it goes :)
Hmmm.. I just always turn a lamp on for an hour (30mins before lights out, 30mins after) so if he's not quite ready he's got a bit of light to get himself cosy for the night!
Wonder why I've never even thought about dimming?! Would be great if there was a cheaper option :(
