Thank you Kate, I have no idea what happened. I am seeing the vet this afternoon for him to do a post-mortem and see if it was something I did or was something he had before I received him.
No Change this morning. Did another shower session this morning to get him warm and hydrated. He's pale and keeping his eyes closed and they are very sunken.
I have a visit with the vet this afternoon. I really hope we can find out what is wrong.
hehehe.. thanks for the giggle :)
Glad he's happy though! I was thinking the same thing about the mesh.. but he's not running away so I guess that's all that matters!
Question..
Has anyone else even seen their chams sleep with their head pointing upward and not resting on the branch/vine??
That's what he's doing right now and he definitely asleep.. is that weird??
Oh thank you! :)
No smiling for today unfortunately.. The eye that had the eye bubble stayed closed today for most of the day.. I gave him a warm shower and he seemed to like it.. He put his pjs on and went to sleep! It was close to bed time anyway.
Just did the shower as his eye had sunken...
Thanks Everyone for your comments :)
Like I first mentioned, I love Ernie anyway, but was just curious!
He's a year old now, so I'm not sure if he's going to be a full bodied blue ever. I've seen him a similar Blue to Jann's boy Hendershot but only twice and was mostly bars.
He's a...
Just fantastic Jann! No wonder all your babies are so happy and love you loads!
When I grow up, I'm going to have a chameleon house just like you! :p
Happy Birthday Hera! What a beautiful lady she is :)
Hi There,
Just a quick question. I was wondering if all Nosy Bes go blue? I have only seen bright Blue Bars on Ernie once, but mostly he is Light Bluey Turquoise, Yellow and Green. I know in the wild they are mostly Greens and such, but he is CB.
I love Ernie and don't really mind if he...
We have household roaches, but I haven't seen one in forever! We get big spiders sometimes, but they are mostly in the hills and I've been told most of them are quite venomous, so I wouldn't be able to tell if they were safe or not.
Varying his feeders is the biggest problem I face here...
She is just wonderful!
In years to come when I'm more experienced I would love to have a meller's :)
In the first post I love the fourth pic the best cause she's smiling for the camera :p
I have an umbrella tree only but mine fills out the width of the cage and I just trim down the top for basking and bits off the side if needed. For me it provides enough foliage but its up to you and your buddy :)
I have a couple of the fake leave vine bush thingies on the side walls just so he...
ERNIE ATE A CRICKET TONIGHT!!!!
EEEEEEEEP!!! I can't even explain how happy I am!!! :D
I showed it to him and I thought he had no interest and then I put it on the screen of his cage and then.. WHOOSH! Chomp chomp chomp! :p
He only ate one and it was in the evening, but this is a massive...
