Well everything I have read says they have almost the same humidity needs and I have a beardie and an Agama in the same tank and they have been fine for years. I understand they might stress eachother out (as far as the Geckos) So i did a bit of a test and put them in another setup tank together...
Hello all, I was wondering if An african fattail gecko and a crested gecko could share a tank. they have the same stuff right down to the bedding in their respective tanks. Plus the fat tail sits at the bottom and the crested is always up in the trees I have for her.
I do feed it to him but he wont eat it. the only way i can get him to eat it is by dipping crickets into it and then handfeeding him. I dont want to keep hand feeding him for fear of him getting lazy
They really are. Im hoping to get a large enough tank to put My male and three more females. I want to try my hand at making my own morphs. I just ordered two female mossy leaf tailed geckos. I wonder if they could share a tank?
I was wondering if Crested and fat tail geckos need a uvb bulb. They are nocturnal so during their day cycle they hide from the light anyway. Just wondering.
To be honest the same thing happened to my veild just before it died. I think what mine had was an upper respiratory infection. I cant say for sure that this will happen to yours but it is always better to prepare for the worst. I really do hope he pulls through though.
You sound like your doing fine to me. The only things I would suggest is that you mist the side of the cage 2-4 times a day to keep up humidity and get a 75 watt nocturnal bulb so you can regulate its sleep cycle. Also try and never buy anymore reptiles from petco because they are usually...
