Well, I know what the others are going to say, lose the tub of water and install a dripper from the top. Just because your cham can't get into the tub does not protect him from bacteria in the water if it's recirculating onto the plants. (where he drinks) All the water you add to the cage...

Sometimes they will eat the sand....rocks would be better.:)

I use a frosting container. Drilled holes (small) in the bottom, cut away a portion of the top lip about an inch or so down and attached it with wire to the cage just below his fav spot to hang out. He figured it out almost immediately.

I know nothing about geckos and even I think it's fat. LOL

But don't use the coiled ones with chams....they can blind your cham.

It might just be the picture, but his eyes look a little sunken to me. Is he keeping well hydrated? Otherwise he's looking good.

Sorry...the line is drawn where they can kill me...I already have snakes, a turtle, a cham, many fishes, salt and fresh, 2 dogs, been through cats, rodents, birds, amphibians, etc...I guess I'm just a tough egg to crack at this point.......don't get me wrong...I love them all.....

But I only have just so much space available.....
