I wouldnt stop dusting but just reduce the dusting. It shouldnt last too long. If more than a week then take him to see the vet just to get him checked over :)

Chams have the ablility to regulate their UV and heat intake, meaning they decide when they need more or less UV and heat. It sounds like he just wants some more UV, i would suggest what is said above. :)

Are you using a UVB light? Just cos you say that he gets 2 hours of daylight through the window (Which is pointless as the glass does not allow uv to filter through) Also if he hisses at a certain point when he is ont the tree/plant then i would guess thast there is something that he can see...
