    Chameleon present

Yesterday my fiance bought me a new baby male veiled as a gift. As I've mentioned in another post, I work at a pet store. Since I've worked there I have come home almost everyday talking about this cham. he just seems to have so much personality. Well, I guess he got sick of listening to me &...

    dehydrated

I believe my jackson is dehydrated so I'm going to put him in the shower. This is something I've never done, so I just want to make sure I do this right. So this is what I plan on doing, tell me if something is wrong.... Put him & the plant in. Point the shower toward the wall, not directly at...

    Carpet chameleons

Beautiful! Do you sell? Do you ship? How much? I think the carpets are the most beautful of chameleons, but they seem hard to come by, CB anyway.

What would you do, if anything at all?

I haven't really decided yet. I didn't have to work today but had to stop down there to get some supplies. While I was there I casually said something to the owner about what they were going to do with her. He just said to me as he was walking away that he just put a stronger uvb bulb on her...

    jackson not eating

Well, I have a new update on my jackson. I thought maybe the crix weren't catching his eye anymore & threw a moth in there. I was right. It was gone in no time. So, the end result is that I need to find a bigger variety of foods for him. Thanks for everyones help.

    Hydrangea tree

I would never put them out there without being carefully watched & and only for an hour or two anyway. I just thought that my little hydrangea tree would have been a nice place for them during that time. Thanks for the info.

Would a hydrangea tree be safe to put my chams in for a little while outside?

What would you do, if anything at all?

I agree, it is animal cruelty. When they took her in it became their responsability to care for her. I feel so bad for her...she's stuck in a 10 gallon tank sitting on the floor.:(

What would you do, if anything at all?

I don't know the owner very well yet, but I don't think he'll let me have her for free. They normally sell the adults for atleast $100 in my area. I thought about offering him a little bit of money for her, how much do you think I should offer?

What would you do, if anything at all?

I have recently started working at a pet store. For most of their animals (rabbits, mice, hamster )they go through local breeder, but not their reptiles. Sometimes they take in some animals that are given to them because the owners no longer want them & resell them. Anyway, they have this...

    jackson not eating

I haven't got a good pic yet. He hasn't fallen & nobody has handled him since I brought him home. I don't believe he can see my veiled because of all the plants in their cages, but I guess it might be a possiblity. He's in my dinning room. It's not the quietest place in the house, but he is...

    jackson not eating

I'm not too worried about having too many worms or moths. I have plenty of other critters that will enjoy them too. Thanks for the advice though. I'll have to dig around & see if I can find a closer place that would be a good feed source. NY isn't exactly the herp capital & things are hard to...

    jackson not eating

I don't cup feed. I just throw them in there, which is what he's used to from being at the store. When i first brought him home he hunted them down & sometimes he would wait until they came to him but either way was very interested. Besides, the crix aren't hiding from him, they seem to like to...
