This is what my book says. I personaaly have never bred them. Hope it helps.
You have to make sure the eggs are slightly above water on a leaf so when they hatch they can fall in. They can hatch in 5-11 days & the tadpole stage can last from 40-60 days. because of the rapid growth rate after...
That's what I was thinking too, thanks.
Coolmoon, can you pm me with your info on what your doing for Stupid? I'd appreciate it.
By the way, why is his name Stupid?
Yeah, I seen that post too. It just suprised me because she's so little still. Like I said, 3 maybe 4 inches. Big attitude for such a little thing! I also have her brother, and he's not like that at all.
Believe it or not, he can climb a little. I was suprised myself at this. Today, he actually reached the top of the pothos pot. I was impressed. I'm telling ya, this guy has determination!
I'm not sure about the cloaca question. I noticed in the ppic as you did. I'll have to take a look at it...
I was cleaning out Shybug's cage & she tried to bite me, not once but twice! I can't believe it! I could believe it if she was bigger, but she's only 3-4". Looks like I'm gonna have my hands full with this one! Is it normal for them to be so nasty as such a young age?
No, I haven't posted any pics of this cham yet. I just got him Thursday night.
The vet didn't say anything about liquid calcium. He just said to keep dusting his crickets everyday.
As for his cage, he's in a temporary cage until the new one comes that I ordered from lllreptile. Since he can't...
Coolmoon-has yours ever gotten a calcium shot? Or have you just been doing the dusting all along? Do you do the calcium everyday? The vet said that the shot might be too much for him & might end up doing more harm than good. But, what scares me is that I read that if you start pumping the...
Well, the vet was here. He said that at this point he didn't feel comfortable giving him a calcium shot. He thought it would be to much for him to take. Plus the fact that he's still eating & I can give him the calcium that way. He told me to keep up the good husbandry & dust his crickets every...
The vet is coming tomorrow, so we'll see what he has to say. I can't imagine what he's going to say when he finds out where I rescued this cham from. The pet store that I work for is privately owned but very well known around here.
Anyway, the newly named Rocky,( my son named him that because...
I had this problem with a rose bush outside ( not a cham plant ). I scraped them off & fed them to my firebelly toad, green tree frogs & house gecko. It was a nice treat for them.
I hate to admit it, but Brad is right, you can't rescue them all. I, like you, am also one of those softies who want to take them all home because you feel sorry for them. Heck, I just brought one home last night that's in really bad shape. It's going to cost me a small fortune in vet bills, but...
