Maybe half of the problem is that I keep comparing him to my veiled, who like you said , is on the patrol non stop. I have vet that comes right to the house, which is great when it comes to reptiles, a little less stress for them. I'll probably have to call him tomorrow. Actually, I can probably...
If anything, the temps might be a little warmer. It's finally starting to get a little warmer here in NY & the ambient temp in his cage is room temp. I have a repti - glo 5.0 tube bulb. I just don't understand what went wrong so quickly in the short time I've had him. When I first brought him...

I have just bought a young male jackson a few days ago and his appetite doesn't seem to be that great. This is the first jackson I have owned & I'm comparing his appetite to me veileds who is about 5-6 moths old. My veiled eats about 8-10 crickets a day plus worms. I'm guessing that the jackson...
I was thinking the same thing, but there is only one other baby in there & that one seems fine with the cage. The one I'm talking about can be at the back of the cage until he sees someone, then he comes straight to the front.
At the pet store that I work at we have to baby veileds. One of them comes right to the side of the tank whenever somebody walks up to it. Is it possible that it might end up being a friendly cham or is there another reason why it would do this?
I just wanted to start off by saying hello & tell you a little about myself.
I'm a 32 yr old mother of 2 & live in Chenango Forks, NY. Not exactly the herp capital of the world! I have recently combined my two passions of plants & animals through constructing vivariums. I'm still fairly new to...
