    Strange Jackson activity

I have Jacksons and usually before the Sun is out, they are walking around near the bottom of their enclosure hunting for stuff. Even though they seem to like trees and bushes, they tend to hunt near the bottom. Any pictures???

    Question about horns

It would be the bottom portion close to the head.. Kind of like the nostril scales shed and leave a---horn growth ring----

    Question about horns

Awesome photos!!!! So, has anyone actually counted how many times their Jackson shed and compared that number to the number of rings on horn? Like a rattle on the rattlesnakes tail. (One rattle per shedding due to modified tail-scale)

    Black Crickets`*Warning graphic images*

Baby jax almost has a name.. also eats from my hands

Sorry to hear about the puffer. Mine has an aquarium all by itself and has been doing great in a marine type environment. (Salt level is 1.023 PPM) To my understanding they are from brackish water and capable of going either way, but end up as adult in Saltwater.

    it's here!

Glad it made it.. I think some of the confusion is that you have two threads and your other thread "New Chameleon Owner" has all the main items in your set-up. There are so many people (breeders of Veiled's) here in CA. You could have gotten a better beginner chameleon.. I think Petco sells...
