Actually several members have tried to come up with a pre made PVC, plexi, etc bottoms with drainage. From the threads I have read, their ability to mass produce these has fizzled out. Basically there isn't a large enough market for them to make manufacturing them financially worth it.
LOL Tiff, Why not just get married on Friday the 13th!?! :p
Happy anniversary
and happy Halloween to everyone else.
Interesting fact, Tonight in the U.S. more DUIs will be handed out than any other night of the year. Drink responsibly people, and what ever you do, don't drive.
Wile the sexist thing may have been a bit off, I think the main point Courtney was trying to say was that if you have an animal that you can't afford to take to a vet, then you should probably rethink keeping said animal until time that you can afford vet visits.
I agree with this. Seriously...
Yeah I do. The problem with Home Depot, or other DIY "plant" bulbs is that they most often don't state what the Kelvin rating is, and IME if it doesn't say exactly what the Kelvin rating is, it's usually not the right or even within the ideal range.
Big Al's is going to be one of the cheapest...
Cup feed him. Attach a solo plastic cup (the kind often seen at keg parties) to the side of the screen near where he is most often hiding. You can put a piece of screen in the cup just as long as the cup is tall to allow the crickets to climb up to the top of the cup.
Cup feeding not only...
LOL It's a cough suppressant here too, but also is used to halt some minor allergic reactions. It's also given in IV form at my clinic for itching caused from sitting in vinyl chairs that don't breath for 4+ hours at a go. Hence why I suggested it may help with the itching.
Dan, maybe add this link to your original post. http://www.iespell.com/download.php
It won't do much in the way of grammar, but it definitely helps with the spelling. o.0
The 18 inch fixture at wally world is sold as an 18 inch cause it fits 18 inch bulb. So yes it will fit your 18 inch 5.0. and they only cost $6.50 at my local WM.
And of course there is the old stand by, Savannah monitor, but they do get to a hefty size, but not as large as most other monitors. 3-4 feet being common and 5 ft being the extreme. They can be quit tame if handled a lot from hatching.
Do a search..I forget who posted it or the title, but there is an old thread here that gives you about the best information you can find on this species. If you can't find it post to let me know. I have the post saved in my files, but as I don't remember the original author I'm hesitant to post...
It's really totally dependent on the fixture. I've seen this in aquarium fixtures, but the cheapo wallyworld ones are 18 inches for 18 inches...Eh now that I think about it..the cheapos are prob longer, but are sold as 18 inches.
I have no clue, but depending on the species (I didn't look these up) I wouldn't feed the soldiers. Some have nasty mandibles meant for war with ants and could possibly damage your chams tongue if given the chance.
Most species are non toxic, so yes they can be fed, but just for safety I wouldn't feed any that were found living in pungent smelling (pine/cedar) trees.
