I'm sure at this point the chams are on the east coast to. Just, ain't no one gonna tell you where they are lol.
Here is the PDF you guys were talking about in the beginning of this thread. PDF
I wouldn't mind just going down the west coast between Fort Myers and Naples and "hunting" for...
Just wondering if any one can point me in the direction of a good source for online ordering of frozen mice. I would like to find someone in the South East to save on shipping, but at this point anything will do.
The reptaid isn't always 100% effective in clearing up parasites. You need to have a fecal done again after the reptaid treatment is over. The good news is, since you already took the cham in to be seen by the vet, they should have no problem just checking a fresh poo sample and not charge you...
Well for starters, this ironically is the first I've seen you mention his "fall", you said nothing of the sort in the death thread. Secondly unless your cham had MBD to begin with, a fall should not have hurt him, unless it was out of your second story window and on to concrete. And thirdly, you...
This coming from someone who just had an unexpected death with no apparent reason behind it other than improper husbandry. Pleas don't give advice like this.
ijmccollum, Being that the species you are trying to keep is a small Montane, your new enclosure should do it just fine. But seriously...
Instead of plywood, use this thin plywood type stuff. I know home depot has it in precut sheets that are 2x4 foot. PM Brye (Fearaffect) for the actual name for this..I'll be damned if I can remember. But anyhow, It's much cheaper than plywood and once stained/painted, will hold up to water very...
I think you might be thinking about a plant like the Vietnamese spike plant. (not sure of the real name) but palms aren't strong enough to cause any puncture wounds. And as far as the sharp edges...I would only guess that to be a problem if you have a cham that likes to use the fonds like a...
Palms (all of them) are cham safe...heck palm hearts are a delicacy.
My only complaint about the majesty palms are they are rather week and once your cham gets some girth to him, he will be snapping the palms left an right. Cat Palms IMO work better. Their palms are much stronger. Both...
Hook up a Rheostat so you can turn down the temp of your bulbs. But the male will like/need it warmer. Another reason it's not a good idea to house them together. ;)
Why do you have it so hot in your house? Do you not have AC?
I would use and do use, just regular wood, and seal it with polyurethane stains. You just have to give it ample time (2weeks to one month) for it to dry completely and off gas most of the dangerous VOCs. In dry form it becomes inert.
Edit: for simple one cage one animal builds, I only wait a...
On your gecko page, it would be nice to be able to see bigger pics of the gecks. Either making them larger or making them clickable. I know that group of leos is just temporary, but still It would be nice to actually be able to see them. As it is now, I can barely make the gecks out from the...
LOL simple grammar and spelling is one of my pet peeves. Wile my grammar may not be perfect, I at least try. And well that Spell Check, I linked it because it's too easy to use not to have it. I think it's a tool every forum poster should use. Eh for those not on IE, I dunno..
Is Dayo usually that gray? If not, she may be gravid. I don't think she was that gray last time I saw a pic of her. (The gray..makes me assume it's a female) not to mention what the other one is doing looks remarkably like mating advances.
