    Name help please!

What about Helen and Hector? Is she pretty enough to go to war over? ;) - Ursula and George - Jessie and James - Cassidy and Butch - Bonnie and Clyde I kinda got into a theme there... That's all I have for now!

    winter

I bought a ceramic heater for these cold nights because my house is very poorly insulated. I don't have a heater in my room either, and my cham can't crawl under the blankets like I do to get warm, so I had to get an alternative.

Definitely better in an aluminum dome, thanks a lot!

    Rub-A-Dub-Dub! Chams in the tub?!

Is there a reverse osmosis system that is easy to hook up to a shower, or do you have to attach it farther down the water line?

    Totally hand fed yesterday!

OMG IT WAS SO COOL! I have an ambilobe cross that is still young (about 3 months I think) and I fed it a few small superworms! He looked a little shy at first, but the first one started wriggling around in circles, and he couldn't resist! Thank you to all of you fellow cham owners that...

    Ceramic heater in porcelain dome?

Oh, I thought it was some complicated acronym. Cool, those domes are pretty cheap, and I may even already have one around here somewhere...

    Ceramic heater in porcelain dome?

Will they work properly in a porcelain dome, or do I need to have a wire lamp? I have a 100W heater. Thanks!

I have the ceramic heater in a porcelain dome, and I just read that they are meant for wire lamps. Is this going to be a problem?

I have the small cage set up with 24" reptisun 5.0, 100W ceramic heater, fake foliage, wood, and thermometer and humidity gauge. I'm running it now to see how far away I need to have the heater. I may pick up my chameleon tomorrow, and also food for the little guy. I am going to assemble my...

    Maybe it's the death kicks?

I used to raise cichlids, and I had an oscar that would do that with any live food I gave him. It was really weird because every other oscar I've seen just gulps down whatever moves in the water that fits in their mouths!

Whether it's right to hate them or not, that totally sucks, and I would be pretty pissed as well. Sorry about the terrible situation :(

Ok, forget the divider plan, the guy gave me another cage with the 3'x2'x2' one. It's 20"hx16"lx15"w, so I'm just going to keep him in there for a little while. I plan to go to LLL on Thursday before I go to work to pick up some of the stuff I need, and I'll get the rest online somewhere...

Ok, I'm now planning on getting an ambilobe cross, a 3'x2'x2' aluminum mesh screen cage with vines and sticks, a reptisun 5.0 uv bulb (but what size do I need for this size cage?), a heat lamp (probably a ceramic one, because for some reason, sunny socal has been quite chilly lately), a spray...

Ok, thank you all again for the info. So If I go with one of those breeders I'll be getting a baby (3 months). How small should the cage be? I'm thinking that I'll opt for a bigger cage with a horizontal divider on top to prevent huge falls. I may just make the divider according to the size...
