Hey all, here is an interesting article I came across.
Does a good job of explaining what we want our bulbs to accomplish.

I was uncertain whether the eggs would hatch or not as they had strange texturing on some of the eggs, and later in the incubation they developed what looked like transluscent patches as well.
They seem to be strong, and eat well so they have a good start.
Pics to come...

Hey Kristina, I have to agree with Brad.
I love hearing your observations and the pics that accompany them!
I worked with Melleri years ago and believe I had 2 females...:(
I had to give them up before finding a known male.
Please keep up the good work!

Hey All, had 2 baby Brevi's hatch out over the last two days.
Incubation was 78 and 79 days respectively.
Temps were 72-77 +/- Room Temp.
Incubation medium was Vermiculite.
1 male, 1 female.
Eggs were removed from dead female, and were her first clutch.
Cause of death unknown...
Hey Kristina, I love the Males vs female pic!!! :D
For her sakes I hope you have a few more females around because you might have a riot on your hands if those boys don't each get one of their own!

Hey Mike congrats!!! Great looking baby!!!
I hope they grow to be big and strong...just not in my small apartment ;D
Fighting the good fight...no Melleri for now!

Watch out for the glue from the cheap cork bark flats.
The expensive ones are compressed, and as such do not have any toxic chemicals
that will be excreted when heated or moistened.
The big exo-terras(with background)/zoo meds(w/o) would work great.
Have fun,
T.
I have mine set up the same way. Works great!
I think next time I would prefer to give them more floor space. 18X18X18 or bigger.
I really like not having to reach in from above to feed and water...I think they stress out a lot more when we do.
Have fun,
T.
Casperpeterson search the adcham listserve archives.
There was a discussion about this topic, particularly about how to ID the different subspecies.
Lynn Raw wrote the best post regarding this topic if you want to search that way.
Good luck,
T.
Soooo went today, what a waste of time!
There was a young wc trio of Deremensis, and 7 dead but walking Rh Temporalis.
So sad!
Met a couple of cool people though,
