Do you have a free range for him to spend some time out side of his cage? when i do this my chameleon brightens right up and looks way happier

you can always hang the lights on the side of the cage. I can imagin that being a problem with the chameleon? I mean same uvb distance if not more travel and same baskin spot just make sure a branch isnt too close.

From what ive read over and over again is that you give a daily dusting of calcium with out d3 every day. then once every two weeks you can dust with calcium with d3. What uvb bulb are you using and how old is it?

what about if you stacked the smaller cages for the female? since its only 3 feet tall it will only be 2 feet taller than the males cage, or are you out of vertical space as well?
