    New setup.

    I would leave the pothos in. The leaves will hold lots of water to help with humidity. Very nice as well.

    There r alot of factors to root quickly. U must try and not let the water get too cold. It won't stop it from rooting it will just take longer. As well it doesn't hurt to change the water daily or every other day. Other than that u could use rooting hormone but not essential, just let it be...

    problem

    Use kitchen paper towel. I use nothing. The bottom of my cages have a layer of plastic. The excess water gets sucked up by the plants. If too much water is on the floor I use a towel or paper towel to clean it up. The plants do a good job though...
