Advise for moving with a Cham?

I think I'll probably go the cardboard method, load Perry's cage in the back of the moving truck and keep Perry in the cab with me to keep him warm.

Advise for moving with a Cham?

I'm moving in about a month, and could use some advise on the least stressful way to get Perry to our new apartment. It's not going to be a far move, only about half an hour away, so it shouldn't be too bad. The outside temps have been pretty cool lately, usually in the 30(F)'s. Any ideas would...

    Hiding on my head

Perry has this habit of crawling out of his cage when I am misting. I put out my hand so he can climb on and I can put him back in. He hops on willingly, but he sprints up my arm and straight up onto my head. The only way I can get him off my head is to kinda bow until my head is in...

    Just got my first chameleon!!!

Yeah, I was surprised at how bright his colors were when I saw him, and how much energy he had. I give credit to the pet shop for how well they cared for him.

Thanks everyone! It's awesome to be part of such a welcoming community. :) The little guy is getting adjusted pretty nice, he's a lot more active today. He doesn't seem to like cup feeding very much, but if I drop some crickets on the leaves of his pothos, he goes right after them!! He's...

    Just got my first chameleon!!!

thanks! Yeah, he had a bit of an attitude with the pet store lady. but when I got him home, he didn't even hiss at me when picked him up to put him in his cage. I'm hoping he stays like that with me, but from what I've read, I probably shouldn't get to used to it!! :p
