Welcome to the forums. Like everyone has already stated this is a great place to learn. Basically everyone on here knows a Crap load about chameleons and stuff and are always willing to help
Thats what I was wondering it just seems like an awful long time to not be interested in food. Also should I be cup feeding or is turning the crix loose in there better.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 2-3 month old male veiled
Handling - only held him once to put him in his baby cage
Feeding - offering 15 small crickets a day in a cup. I gut load with cantaloupe potato and romain lettus.
Supplements - I use zoomed repti calcium w/o d3, repcal herptivite...
So I still haven't seen him eat or drink a thing and I can't find any poo i'll try and get a good pic maybe you guys will be able to tell if he's doing ok.
Hello everybody I just have one quick question. I got my new male vailed little Cletus on friday and haven't seen him eat since I got him home.
Is that normal?
My little buckaroo ferguson climbs on the top of his cage all the time in these crazy weird little circles then he back flips off onto a branch then dose it all over again he's a ca-razy boy!
I feed my guy 10 crickets a day dusted with calcium powder without d3 then on sundays I alternate between my multi-vitimin and calcium with d3 powders. I hope this helps and congrats on your new little guy.
With my veiled ferguson I just got one of those 5 dollar worm bowls from pet smart and he had no problem at all figuring out there was food in there I think chams are way smarter than we give them credit for
I got my 6 month old male veiled about 5 months ago from a pet store in bountiful ut. named bird world and i dubbed him ferguson james pruitt the fourth because that was the first name my brain conjured up
Thats so funny I'm actually begining to wonder if ferguson is still pooping regularly I havent seen any extra logs in his new cage yet but then again its only been like five days since I set it up hopefully he's not backed up:(
