I don't think this would be a good idea due to the fact that most of them have toxic skin which can be poisonous to other animals. i looked it up on google. so having said this if your cham was to injest any toxins, it might die. So my answer would be no. lets see what others have to say on...
for the sticks, yes it is ok as long as you pour boiling water on them to sterilize them. for the plant i don't know. maybe someone else will get on and help you out with that one. i have the same problem with plants. the only plant i can seem to grow is a cactus. lol. wish you luck.
