    Hey Kenya, Trace and the others gave you good advice. Water her and leave her alone, but ensure that the temps aren't too high. My female dropped 21 babies on tues. Similar to your situation: She went off food the day before birthing, was also gaping(although high heat here that day so ?)...

    Thanks, yes 21 is a lot of babies (unless you keep calyptratus ;), and a friend gave me 4 Jax babies from his clutch 2 days before and 2 baby Phelsuma laticauda l babies as well....and then 2 brevicaudatus babies hatched the same weekend...so yes a LOT of babies :D Cham heaven...getting close...

    I wouldn't sell them before they reached at least 2-3 months old. At that age they are worth more and have a better chance at surviving! If you are selling individually, you could probably get $50-75 each, less if selling in bigger groups. Good luck, T

    Sorry didn't answer the original question: hydroton, screen, charcoal (optional) screen, spagnum(sp?) moss around pots, fiber/topsoil etc... Be aware that topsoil (in pots and in bags) typically has fungus gnats in it so...cook the soil and repot plants and use the rest to mix with coco...

    Confused on Pygmy Substrate

    I use bed -a-beast/coco fiber mixed with peat moss and a little top soil. I find the coco fiber dries out too soon on its own. Have fun, T.
