They are good display animals, really easy compared to chams and require very similar care/considerations...
The youngsters will lap baby food off my fingers while on my hand...CB are better for that...

Thanks Dave I appreciate the info.
Now the decision comes into what I want more, a nice lens for
my digital slr or a microscope...? Hmmmn!
Could you post some more pics of different parasites, and perhaps explain to everyone
how you set up the slides, and set up a key to identify the...
Hey Dave et al,
Good thread very interesting indeed!
I have a couple of questions for you, which parasites are considered
STP's?
Any recommendations for locating a resonably priced microscope?
What capabilities (focal strength) does it need to have...I think someone
mentioned 20-40X for...
Hey Everyone, I was wondering at what age brevs typically reach sexual maturity.
I have a 3 month old male who I believe is getting close, and is starting to creep his sister and me out. ;)
Anyone have any difinitive info?
Cheers,

Hey Kenya, Trace and the others gave you good advice.
Water her and leave her alone, but ensure that the temps aren't too high.
My female dropped 21 babies on tues.
Similar to your situation: She went off food the day before birthing, was also gaping(although high heat here that day so ?)...
Thanks, yes 21 is a lot of babies (unless you keep calyptratus ;), and a friend gave me 4 Jax babies from his clutch 2 days before and 2 baby Phelsuma laticauda l babies as well....and then 2 brevicaudatus babies hatched the same weekend...so yes a LOT of babies :D
Cham heaven...getting close...
Hey All, a female Jax of mine dropped 21 babies on tues.
They are pretty much all doing well so far...they are really cute little babies, although very fiesty with each other.
She did not eat much the day before, and paced for the 2 days prior to laying.
She weighed 83 grams 2 prior and...
Yeah, I'll probably be going.
What are looking for in particular?
Last time it was pretty pathetic...but there may be some Jacksonii xants, Veileds, and last time a couple of Deremensis, fischeri etc...
Cheers,
T.
I wouldn't sell them before they reached at least 2-3 months old.
At that age they are worth more and have a better chance at surviving!
If you are selling individually, you could probably get $50-75 each, less if selling in
bigger groups.
Good luck,
T
Nice little males you have there!
Mine are about 2-3 months now and are fun little things...very cool
little chams!
Enjoy them, they have been a pleasure to raise!

Hey Casper, it has been a while since I have had Dilepis but I seem to remember that the dark body with bright yekkow spots is nonreceptive colour.
Good luck next time...
PS How do you know it is dilepis roperi?
Sorry didn't answer the original question:
hydroton, screen, charcoal (optional) screen, spagnum(sp?) moss around pots, fiber/topsoil etc...
Be aware that topsoil (in pots and in bags) typically has fungus gnats in it so...cook the soil and repot plants and use the rest to mix with coco...
