    Handling Issues.

Make handling a treat. Every time I handled an aggressive cham, I would take a walk outside into the sunshine. Do this for about a week or two and watch as an angry chameleon turns into a tolerant angry chameleon. Thats about as good as it gets. They come around in time, but they need to...

    Never give up hope.

This ties into my earlier thread, but I thought I would make a new one. As I mentioned I had a clutch of new Xantholophus Jacksons. Now, I know many breeders that will not bother the neonates as they are being dropped, but in my experience, I do intervene. One thing that I think should be known...

How do you clean your plants?

In the shower, with no soap. I just scrub each leaf roughly with my fingers. I have used antibacterial soap before, but lately I have not bothered and it has been fine.

    Neonates...3 of a kind!

I don't usually make threads...Still, I thought most of you members would appreciate this news. This is the first time that dates have crossed so closely. Ambilobe Panthers (Blue Bars), High Turquoise Veiled, and Xantholophus Jacksons...The Panthers were hatched on 7/25, the Veiled started...

Will this cage be big enough?

Hmmm...Since you are dividing it, I would advise making it a foot wider. That way each side is getting at least 2 feet of width. If your chams are still growing, then go ahead and build it with the idea that they will need an upgrade within a year. I have enclosures of all dimensions and sizes...

So where did you get you Screen Cage from?

Muahaha! I slave out my chameleons and make them build their own cages! Minions! TO WORK! OP building a cage is easy and time consuming. Check youtube, there are plenty of step by step videos.

    Fluker's good for gut load?

Ive been using Flukers, many on the forum here think its terrible, but my cricket colony is fat and my chams are healthy. Still, I only buy it when its on sale. Usually, since I have fruit trees that overflow, I just drop in whatever is in season. Right now for example, my crickets are on a diet...

    Easiest DIY Enclosure EVER!!

I realize that, but what I meant to say is that it is hard to find 1/4 inch in vinyl or PVC coated. I can find 1 inch, maybe even 1/2 inch, but 1/4 inch is never found. They sell it online, but with shipping costs, I spend about as much or more than I would buying mats. for a regular enclosure...

    name contest!

Try Azura, Ivan, Napoleon, He-Man, Skeletor, Cpt. America or some other equally heroic name. Please do not use Rango...Every other chameleon this side of the hemisphere is named Rango. Don't subject your poor chameleon to the name Rango, he will be mocked and bullied at school. All the other...

    Easiest DIY Enclosure EVER!!

The problem I have with these tubes is the galvanized mesh. I have always had the feeling that extended use can damage chameleon feet. Aquamesh seems like a safer alternative, but they do not offer 1/4 inch. I used 3 of these cages as a trial run a few years ago...One of my chameleons developed...
