they also require a lot of ventilation & fresh air. he/she will probably spend most of their time up top anyways but be mindful of what a respiratory infection looks like & monitor him for symptoms if you see him spending a lot of time in the tank. also, how do you keep circkets from escaping...
my 5 month old is just about finished shedding but still has some hanging on her foot & around her eyes & she is pissed off. Do they always get this grumpy when they shed? she's usually very happy so this is not normal behavior for her.
is aluminum safe?
I've herd of some metal wire cages cutting into chameleon hands before, some have recommended coating the cage in PVC coating too. Is this something you have to do to aluminum screen cages too? Or are aluminum screen cages generally safe for chameleon feet?
When I thought I was adopting a male i named him Enoch (sounds like E-knock) but very recently discovered I'm a proud parent of a baby girl.. Also trying to think of female names that are "Enoch" worthy. Possibly something Greek, biblical, or Jewish sounding. Not for religious reasons though...
i have 3 more babys for yall to sex! i think only one is male but i'm not sure, would love as many as opinions as possible. hoping to bring home baby male panther tomorrow & these are my selections, for now.
The first is the Nosey Fally, the second is an Ambanja & third/fourth is the Blue Bar
He/She looks to be about 4-5 months old. I've read to look at the base of the tale but it's still a little hard for me to tell. The pet store owner wasnt to sure either
It's only been 2 days since bringing him home from the pet store so he's still pretty dark but I'll post pictures...
