Here are some pictures of him. He looks skinnier here than in real life. Thats a thing veiled do too I heard :P
Or maybe I should give him more hornworms.... :P
Hes happy with his supers right now. Not really into the dubias lately. Ill feed my dubias to my female and my blossoming mantis...
Well since he has been to a vet, its safe to say that he is not gravid. Hmmm... Maybe it has something to do with him wanting to go out the cage. What the size of your cage and his size? Try free ranging him while youre around. I have a male here he hates his cage and free ranging him once aday...
I sometimes see those in my superworm bins too. I thought they were just some small supers but the bettle larva would make sense. I should stop buying worms from chain petstores anyway :P
It is normal for a new chameleon not to eat for a day or two after being moved. It's dealing with the stress of moving right now. Just give him some room and let him have his space for a while. Around two days crickets should be offered and as what was mentioned earlier free range them. Let your...
I got him a month ago he is a male veiled cham. I got him from a friend who could no longer keep him. He is my second cham. I dont actually know his exact age and neither did his previous owner. I've been trying to fatten him up a bit. He was a bit of on a hunger strike when he first came over...
IF its temperature issues try misting the enclosure. If he closes his mouth after that you just need to give him a cooler place thats all. If that doesnt work look into his diet and nutrition.
Doesn't seem like a shed. An odd coloration pattern if that would be so. Hows the response when you touch or apply little pressure on the area? Might be a burn..
Today a situation happened. I was trying to hand feed my Cham named Diego, a veiled male some hornworms. He usually doenst hand feed UNLESS I treat him with some hornworns. Today he was just refusing the hornworms and would just gape his mouth open. Then I would just back up and try again from a...
The direction does say to shake it well before using. Then spray onto food and allow 15 secs to settle.
The guaranteed analysis says: Calcium (Min) 1700ppm

Its a zilla brand calcium supplement. I also have...
I got mine for a little over a week now they are much faster method other than dusting. I use them if I'm short of time. They are a great alternative in that aspect for sure!
Thats a very lovely jackson! Gotta love those magnificent horns! Uggghhh... :D
Nice set-up although as others have said I recommend more vegetation pothos are great to hang and maybe some arboricola. That would be great for hanging for a small cham like a jackson. Also about the substrate...
Looking good. If I would improve something it would be more bend a branch. You can hang them from the top of the cage using sime twist ties. Just make a loop on the branch and hang them making sure to wrap around the plant and secure them on the soil. Easy and works great :D
I recently bought a calcium supplement spray and a vitamins supplement spray. Those have been really handy when I have to go to work in the morning and wont be back till late at night. Im the type of guy that will squeeze every min of his sleep but lately I've been waking up earlier for dusting...
HOLY MOTHER FATHER! I knew about not housing them together but that was something new to me! WOW! Never knew it could be that bad.
I feel sorry for your lost dude. I know its gonna be hard on you knowing that you could have prevented it. Sadly it ended up this way. Now you know better and its...
As you may have observed their eyes are independent of each other. The only time those eyes ever focus on one thing is when its a sec or so aways from shooting its tongue. During that short period they judge the image they see basing on the slight differences from the images they see from each...
Crickets are a good start but they arent really the best ones for me. The upkeep is high and the noise plus clean up. It wont be much now since you still have a baby cham. Once your cham gets bigger and requires a bigger set of crickets thats when the issues build up. They tend to be noise (not...
I once misplaced one of my vieled chams after free ranging him. Took me 3 days before I found him (or he found me). I turned my whole appartment inside and out! It was kinda cooling down during winter, I found him basking on top of my female chameleon cage! So that might be a good way to do it...
