    Screen cage stacking?

Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna go for it. It just that these extra cages seems like a waste of investment trying to recycle them. If this works out I'm gonna do the same to my other small cage. Total enclosure revamps should be in my future. I've been dying to free range my chams for a while now...

    Screen cage stacking?

I have an idea of stacking my new cage together with my old one. I have a 24x48 and a 16x20. My plan is to rest the edges of the smaller cage on the ledges of the bigger cage. That would ensure that the weight of the smaller cage wont be on the screen but on the bars of the bigger cage. Then...

    Supplements in feeder gut load?

I've been watching a few videos on youtube and a common patterns occurs about sprinkling calcium powder on feeder bedding/gutload. Is this a right method? If so what types of calcium supplements or plain supplements can be directly added into the mixture?

New here, lots of questions! :)

I believe your cage would be big enough to support at least one live plant. I understand your concern about the crickets hiding and they might nip on your cham. Basing on my experience as long as you put the plant at the top or the bottom and not close to the walls the cricket issue should be at...

New owner, concerns for Koopa the Chameleon

You have a great set-up and seems to be well invested into you cham. About the dusting/spraying issue they both have ups and down. Dusting is traditional and proven but spraying is really convenient, although they are newer items in the market. I use both personally when I dont have time I just...

    How important is feeder variety?

Thanks. Im just gonna go easy on mealworms due to thier very high chitin content. Also will probably end up feeding them to my mantis. Now looking into offering black soldier flies as a flying variety of feeders! They are awesome!

Other insects found in roach colony?!?

I was cleaning my roach colony today and I came across a few unfamiliar faces. What are these? Are they dangerous? I believe I got them from the last roach shipment I had delivered. Never seen them before until yesterday which prompted the clean up today. Any help clearing my mind would be...

New here, lots of questions! :)

Welcome to the forums. You have come to the right place! I'm quite new myself but I'm gonna throw in a few words of advice that I have picked up when I first got my chams. 1. About the humidity, I wont worry too much about it. As long as you mist him when youre around he should be fine. Make...

Best place to get fruit flies? Young mantis feeders?

Im not moving forward on my test mantis feeder program. I think I have around 50 mantis left. Im feeding them fruit flies right now. Petco sells them but it seems like the price is a bit off. Pet store chains always have higher prices. I'm wondering where else can I find a place to get some...

How to turn reptiworms to flies?

Interesting. Seems like they are rather easy. Just leave them there till they pupate and turn to flies and let loose in the cage. Okay :D

How to turn reptiworms to flies?

Seems rather easy. I'm gonna have to try it out. My chams seems to enjoy hunting them down. How about their nutrition are they the same as the worms? Thanks for the replies :D

How to turn reptiworms to flies?

My chams used to love these wiggling worms but after a while they became less interested in them. I'm thinking the ones with wings flying around their enclosures would better trigger their interest. I recently acquired a few of them (IDK how, I have a few ideas *its in my previous post*) My...

Flying insect came with dubia shipment?

OHhhhh.... The mature repti worms! Now that I think of it a while back some of my repti worms escaped and went into my dubia enclosure. That must have been the cause of their occurrence. Then again the place where I ordered the roaches from also offer reptiworms they could have easily mixed up...

Flying insect came with dubia shipment?

I recently acquired some extra small dubias for my mantis project. Planning on breeding a few and feeding them to my chams. After I emptied the box to my dubia container I noticed that there were these flying insects buzzing around a few days later. I believe that they came in with the shipment...
