Is my 6-7 month old veiled chameleon named, Jade ready to produce eggs? I know they can produce eggs without a mate. She is showing spots of dark purple on her sides, the purple coloring is inside her yellow spots. does that mean she can start producing eggs or she is already gravid? please post...

You should NOT feed your crickets fish flakes. its bad and can lead to kidney damage, that might be the reason he passed.:(

Hi, its Jade again! Can any of you peeps out on the world wide spider web give me a list of fruits and veggies I can gutload my crickets with? I'm using baby spinage and a bird mash ( lots of protein and other stuff good for chams ) at the moment. Any suggestions?

Oh my gosh, I'm kinda freaking out. My cham might be able to start producing clutches now, she has a few purpleish dots on her sides, the purple in inside the yellow colored dots. ( you can see the yellow dots in the first picture, first page. )

I might be starting to ponder about the information of some people on this site... I did say some. but none of us know everything. i think he said it was a mild case of mbd, or mbd developing, but like i said before, I AM a scatterbrain.

The vet said my habitat was good, and he also said that usually when you get a chameleon form a breeder or petstore it has parasites. he gave me a light and some gutloading formula.

He said it wasnt mbd, because they did a fecal sample and found coccidia. he said coccidia can block the absorbing of calcium and d3. he called is calcium something... lol im a scatterbrain. she got a d3 and calcium shot.
