Ha ha...Carol I know what you mean with the baby sitting, I am freaking out about the birds close by all the time! But thanks for the advice I will try to keep him out longer whenever I can, we have hibiscus and ficus in front of our house so he gets shade and we always mist him when he is out...
We will definitely replace the bulb asap, today his aim was back to normal but he only had three large crickets! We have been trying to take him outside every day to let him free range, usually for half an hour. Is that too much sun exposure and d3 intake for him?!!? (we live in miami beach...
Try to use a cup that isn't clear....it also helps to have the cup on a lower branch so he can look down on the feeders...we have it near his favorite branch so we know he goes there a lot. Just give it some time and he will use it once he is hungry.

•Handling – We take him out every other day to let him free range on the ficus outside of our house
•Feeding – We feed him crickets, superworms, silkworms, hornworms, depends on the day 3 to 5 large...
Ours ate them in the beginning but then they grew enormous :eek: and he seemed more scared of them than anything...lol..the few that were left are now tunring into moths, maybe he'll eat those. :)
