@Michael...His urate looks normal (white), we spray him 3 times a day, mist the enclosure 2 to 3 times a day and have a dripper on all day. We don't usually see him drink but from what I read here in the forum, chameleons are "secret drinkers" and many owners don't usually see them drink.
cucumber is all i had at the moment, and i wanted to feed it to him more for the water content and to try it out if he would even eat anything but crickets and worms :p
Ours just started using it....jst make sure it is not too high in the cage so he can see the feeders and put it near a branch he likes to go to. He will start using it when he gets hungy.
Thanks for the info Syn...Doc, he is a 4 months old veiled and today was the first time we tried veggies on him. We cut the cucumber in super thin slices and held it right in front of his mouth. He just took bites out of it after looking at it for a while and seemed to like it.
We have the same problem with ours, he is 4 months old veiled and seems to hate it when we spray him. We have a dripper too, but don't know if he uses it when we are not at the house. I a little concerned although is urate looks white and normal.
So Bob is loving his new feeding cup which makes our lives much easier..he still free ranges and has fun with it, but it is good to know that he finds his food when we are not there.. :D
he is still very young so he never tried it before..and yes they do eat certain veggies and fruit, zucchini, cucumber, sqash is good for them on occassion.
lol...i think he was hiding under a leave in the picture all the way on top. he is still pretty small, he is only 4 months, so this feels like a jungle to him..:D
Thanks Jamelon, the background is made out of styrofoam. We bought it in a reptile store but you can get it online too. The one we have is from exo-terra (see link below)

Our cham loves it, he walks on there and it gives the whole...
