I highly doubt he will "calm" down. He has been a psycho and a jumper since day 1. As far as him being dark, he is used to being outside 24/7, with temps that reach low 90's. if your ambient is low 80s or even room temp, my guess is that he will stay dark. He has already shed a few times...

This WC Tamatave has a habit of eating LOTS of dirt. I have to wash his face off daily!!! Thank goodness he is totally calm and cool.

You would be suprised at how small some of the imports come in that are gravid. Tiny little girls full of eggs. Teeny tiny!
