not positive but looking at root of tail I would say male ,,,, wait for a month or two and get better pictures of the root of the tail

no she hasn't , I don't think nails hurting him because he still climbs and moves around good , he never pull his leg back like its hurting him ,, and both hind feet are the same middle nail longer ,,, confused on this for sure

you can't see the short nails that good but the best picture I can get ,,,,,he won't keep still

its a girl , the trunk of her tail is small , males has larger trunks ,congrats on your female,,,, my female panther is 9months old (picture is my daughters veiled) I have her SPOILED big time LOL

I have 2 chams and they both do it but not often maybe once or twice a month ,like the other post if they do it more than normal get them to a vet

I will try and take a pic but my male never sits still when holding him LOL

need to feed in morning so cham can bask and digest there food , feeding at night might cause them not to fully digest food, the basking in the heat helps them digest food

I have 2 chams male viel about 10 months old and female panther 8 months , the cages is next to each other and I had to put a blind up because marley the male would get excited ( moving all over the cage) sence I put up blind he has calmed down , I asked before about different species vield...

I am not backing Petco , but I have purchased 2 chams and never had a problem , the manager was very very helpful, it could be some stores just doesn't care , just my point of view , manager never made me buy something I didn't need and also gave me info on where to send them if they ever was...

my male veild does not like small children, a friend of mine had her 5 year old grandson over and I took him out , he never did calm down so I put him back in , he was watching little boy like a hawk never took his eyes of the boy LOL,,I will never ever take him out with a child in my house...

I have double zoo med ,, its good one but for some reason they had a bad connection on socket,, wish you luck

I have had that problem also , check the element to see if the wire is broken, if its not check the wiring on the socket, I have to reconnect the wiring ,factory did a poor job
