Good news everybody I woke up this morning and checked on the eggs and one of them started sweating. Can't wait to get off work and check on the progress. Soo exited just had to share!
I have a clutch of panther chameleon eggs about to hatch soon. I have fruit fly cultures going and was thinking about culturing bean beetles.
Can anyone please give me a how to on culturing bean beetles.
Cool Thanks for the reply. I got some producing cultures of hydei fruit flies from josh's frogs and started making my own cultures on April 25.
I have my baby bins setup and waiting for the first hatchling. Now just the waiting game!!! I'm so exited to make it this far Can't wait.
Just a quick question. One of my eggs seem that part of the shell are flaking off. Is this something I should be worried about? Is this caused by too much moisture or not enough or is this normal?
Hi everyone. Was hoping maybe some people on here with some experience on incubating panther chameleon eggs can give me an idea on when my eggs are going to hatch? They were laid on oct 31. Have been in a homemade incubator out of a wine fridge that stays between 73 &78 degrees.
Sorry for...
First I want to start off by saying this is my first clutch of eggs that were laid on Oct,31
I have done alot of reading on this site about peoples platic bin setups and what they use. For lighting people say to use reptisun 5.0 but I have not seen anyone mention anything about a basking...
I might be wrong but I think that she is really a he! He is also a veiled chameleon!
Knowledge is power. Do all the research you can on these forums so that you can create a suitable environment for the little fella.
Oh yah and if you really want to have a chameleon you are gonna have to...
I was testing this out on my DIY closet enclosure which is 6ft x 3x3 with plenty of live foliage to get shade for my male ambilobe thats around 1 year & 1/2 old.
I was wondering if anyone here has any experience using these bulbs for their chams. A vendor at the last expo I went to said these bulbs are ok for chams but I'm not sure.
when you are moving the eggs make sure you do not rotate them! Try to keep them in the same position as they were laid the best you can. If you rotate them they can drown in there own embrio.
