I would definitely try hand feeding as early as possible. Hold on to a crickets rear leg and put your hand just in front of (not side) his cage. The cricket struggling should stimulate him to come get it. He may watch it and not pursue, but stay persistent with it and eventually he should come...
I spoke with Marty and think I MIGHT do 3 greenhouse T nozzles. Only issue I run into with that is getting them to mist any further than the 13" mud pan. I'd like all the plants to get misted and with the enclosure being 30" wide I'd need to run two pans, or have at least one nozzle on the end...
I was working with particle board cover with laminate. If you know how particle board reacts to moisture you'll know keeping water out was crucial.

What kind of wood is it? Bare or coated?
If you're just looking to coat it, you can use Minwax Polycrylic. If you're looking to pain it, check outdoor paints. I used Valspar 365 outdoor paint/primer blend from Lowes that's water/mild/moldew resistant and water just beads off. Make sure you...
It takes a lot of time and patience. Everything is new to your Cham so they need to adjust. One thing you can start doing is hand feeding so he associates your hands with positive reinforcement.
All have different personalities, but still have that underlying fear of you. My female veiled...
That's exactly what I'm looking for. I need the top thread/washer to secure the nozzle, but a straight shot underneath without the elbows. It didn't seem like it unscrewed though and I was weary of putting any force into it.
Post it up! I need to get rid of the adjustable Mist King nozzle and add a shorter nozzle, drill two more holes on each side, and then I think I'd get the water coverage I want. As of right now the nozzle is so long it almost touches the screen and I have to aim it to one side.
I'm not sure...
Thanks man. I think I'm finally finished, for now.
I know a lot of people say their Chams can be timid with eating, drinking, and human exposure, but this guy has no filter. He eats out of my hand, comes out of this enclosure on to me, and drinks in plain sight with me only inches away...
Did some rearranging. I took out those Pothos and added an Orchid and two Bromelaids, installed the Mist King nozzle into a dry wall mud pan for the DIY rain dome, added some faux Pothos vines and added a 5K aquarium plant light that really makes his colors look amazing.
An rain dome injection mold catered to standard consumer cage sizes seems like the most cost effective route. Have the nozzle holes precut, offer a "kit" and you're golden.
