i thought i would share this is our new nosy b male from the kammers, we have not named him yet. we are taking suggestions so if any one has a good name.. his sire is the kammers thranduil. i cant wait to see how he turns out.
i live in mi to and we just moved all our chams to a new house as well. just make sure the cages at the new house are set up and the heat in the car is on and just put them in a shoe box with some dry paper towels and they should be just fine. good luck.
i would have to say i dont know.lol. im sorry. i would also say that i would re post some new pics of him in about 2 months so we can see his patterns and color. i think that would tell a whole lot more.
my first was a veild about two years ago i now have 6 chameleons, i deal mostly with panthers now but i still have my veilds, with more chameleons on the way . i must say i dont know what i would do without them, they even have there own room and basicly have there claws in my check book at all...
i normaly just order 1000 crick then i put them in a realy big rubermade container with a small tub with fresh moist soil in it and let em go to town. i leave it in there for about a week or two then i move the container with the dirt in it to its own relly big tub and wait for them to hatch...
whatever works for you. as long as he is eating thats a good sign, but you dont want to feed him to much because it can cause him to grow to fast witch can lead to bone probs later down the road.
i would cut back on how much you are feeding him .at 2 months he should be eating about 12 small crix a day. also feed only in the morning or early afternoon dont feed at night it is harder for them to digest there food at night befor they go to sleep. i hope this helps and if you have any...
how many crix are left over on average every night? you might want to try and put a few less crix in the cage if he is not eating all of them. you could also try what was said above and put some gut load in a little try and put it in the corner of the cage that way they can stay healthy.
ya i will for sure, i am just lucky to have a good vet they do cats and dogs but they have vets that only deal with reptiles. i go to canton animal hospital in canton MI i dont know where you live but if your in the mitten check it out.
