It's been impossible for me to get any "true" sleeping color pictures. He's a light sleeper and I haven't been able to sneak up on him.........yet. He shows mostly green and an orangish color when he sleeps. I can't take even one picture without him having open eyes.........I've tried several...
His hatch date was either July 3rd or 4th..........so he is a "firecracker". So he's a little over 5 months old.........and he was the alpha-male of the clutch. He puts on a pretty good show, but it's all a bluff...........lol
Time for another little "photo" update. I was fixing to clean out the bottom of his cage this morning and snapped a few photo's. He REALLY hates this black scraper thing that I use to scrape the bottom of his cage with.
He really fired up............once he saw the darned thing. The results...
Honestly.....it's hard to notice when you see him every day. I'll try and get a few pics tomorrow at feeding time. He seems to be growing like a weed though. :)
"Winterhawk" was a movie that came out in 1975 about a group of Blackfoot (Cheyenne) indians that became infected with the small pox virus and were dying off. Winterhawk was their chief and he went off to get the vaccinations to save the rest of the tribe.
