    Bulbasaur is shedding!

Our Ambanja also shed every three weeks around that age as well! Have fun and enjoy, our little guy makes the funniest faces when he sheds, I'm sure that you will catch a few.

HE HATES ME!!! (Jann's baby boy)

Haha, The babies swaying made me laugh out loud. Zephyr hates the colour black. He just looks you up and down and puffs up until you change your shirt and come back into his room, as if to say "how dare you wear black around me"

    can chams eat tomato worms?

I would avoid feeding anything wild caught to your cham. Even though you may flush out the tomato toxicity with mulberry leaves, you can never be sure that the worm does/doesn't have harmful parasites that can kill your cham. This goes for all wc bugs. Hope this helps, Trish

Our first expo was amazing! We were like kids in a candy store! We picked up a mist king (thanks Marty) and hornworms (feeder factory)! :D Can't wait for September's expo! We probably won't be able to leave without a new cham from chameleon nation. What did YOU get??

    Mistakes

Our mistakes lead in our first chameleon Coral, only living with us for three weeks, she never thrived at home. We know some of the reasons why now (p[poor lighting, air circulation, etc], but it was a huge learning process and has only motivated us to take better care of her brother, Zephyr...

Pet stores can be rediculas sometimes...

Hey, I think that what you did was great, and I am just as disappointed as you are in the way that it was dealt with. Recently, my boyfriend and I were at Big Al's in Kitchener and in a dark corner, we saw a small chameleon female chameleon for sale. She had no lights on her, she had her...

    Open Mouth??? Why?

What is her basking temp? Sometimes Zephyr (10 month male panther) will open his mouth when he is showing aggression, but it is not for that long, and he is usually puffing up (like a lion growl that continues into a popeye face with his lips and then he will do a vine shake). Is she puffing up...

    Local I.D. Please/pictures!

Hey Everyone, Our panther chameleon Zephyr is about 10 months, and we have come to the realization that he is definately NOT a Nosy Be panther (as we were told upon purchase). We were thinking that he was an ambanja, but he gets both red and blue bars (purple bar?), so we were wondering if...

How Do I tell if I have a Male or Female Panther

If it is a boy, you will see a bulge forming right near his vent on the base of the tail. You can search it on the forums and try to compare with what others have said with your little one. The best way to find out is to post pictures of the he/she from the side, with the tail out straight. That...
