I've decided my crickets have become institutionalized. They sometimes manage to escape their prison - the cricket keeper - and realize they just can't handle life on the outside. They know they don't want to go back in, so they look for a way out. A cup of water seems to be their favorite way...

She sleeps in the same spot every night and curls up at an ungodly early hour. She was curled up for bed before 5pm tonight. Her lights don't go out for another two hours.
Can hardly see her haha - it was windy and she decided she'd rather go into my shirt than sit on my head. Anyway that's me and Venus.

Today was my first experience with shedding. My little miss has been super grouchy the past two days, now I know why. It started with a teeny patch on top of her head and then she suddenly was covered in flakes.
I've never had reptiles, but always wanted one. I intended on getting a bearded dragon or leopard gecko because the boys wanted a new pet and I can't take on another dog (rental agreement and such).
My friend has a male panther chameleon and I totally fell in love with his little mitts...
Personally I started offering in a white feeder cup and then switched to a clear one so she could see my hand. Then I would offer a worm in my hand.. If she showed no interest I would pop it in the clear cup. Now unless she's in a diva mood she will mostly come over to hand feed. I'm no expert...
I might obsessively take photos. Poor thing will either get a complex or become a diva.
